Retargeting / Remarketing
Definition
A marketing technique that shows ads to people who previously visited a website but didn’t convert, keeping the brand in front of them as they browse elsewhere online. It’s commonly used through platforms like Google Display Network or Meta Ads. Example: Someone visits a cosmetic surgery practice’s tummy tuck page but leaves without booking a consultation. Over the following days, they start seeing ads for that same practice on other websites and social media, prompting them to return and complete the booking.
