Since its founding, Cosmetic Surgery Marketers, a subsidiary of Ottaway Communications Inc., has been dedicated to helping cosmetic practices grow through digital advertising and SEO. 

In 2004, we initiated our first partnership with a cosmetic surgery practice managing advertising for the “Mini-Facelift,” and our team has been developing data-driven strategies tailored specifically for cosmetic surgeons ever since. 

From search engine optimization (SEO) and paid search (PPC) to web design and social media marketing, we deliver targeted digital solutions that educate and attract new patients, increase consultations, and build long-term visibility in a competitive market.

 

Our History

Cosmetic Surgery Marketers was founded in 2004 by Bob Ottaway, who forged one of his first client partnerships with the cosmetic surgery office of Dr David Kent, founder of Lifestyle Lift. Cosmetic Surgery Marketers was hired to handle the marketing for Dr. Kent’s new venture, the “Mini-Facelift,” which sought to provide a more affordable and quick alternative to a full facelift,  nationwide. 

At the height of the Mini-Facelift campaign, Lifestyle Lift was so successful that it expanded from its corporate headquarters in Detroit, Michigan, to offices in Pittsburgh, Chicago, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Fort Lauderdale and reached a total of 50 markets.

The success of our marketing campaign sparked a revolution that still sees cosmetic surgery offices offering “Mini-Facelifts” today. We are still consulting with Dr. Kent to this day, by providing marketing support for his follow-up to Lifestyle Lift, EZFirm.

In 2019, we organized marketing strategy for his EZFirm offices in Salt Lake City, Jacksonville, Phoenix, Tracy, California, Highpoint North Carolina, San Francisco, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Miami, and Houston.

Another one of our clients, Dr. Eric Seiger of the Skin & Vein Center, adopted the mini-facelift procedure as well and trademarked his version of it as the “Hour Lift.” We have been supporting his office for 14 years and have consulted with him for marketing his three locations in the Detroit area and La Jolla, California.

In addition to consulting with cosmetic surgeons, we have also provided marketing services to plastic surgery practices, including the Straith Clinic in Bingham Farms, Michigan.

Over the years, we have continued to evolve, integrating the latest digital marketing technologies and trends to deliver measurable results for our clients.
