Google Ads/Performance Max

Definition

Google Ads is the platform businesses use to run paid campaigns across Google Search, Display, and YouTube. Performance Max is a newer campaign type that uses automation to serve ads across all of Google’s channels from a single campaign. Example: A cosmetic surgery practice runs a Performance Max campaign to promote its liposuction services across Search, Display, and YouTube simultaneously. This lets Google’s algorithm automatically shift ad spend toward whichever channel is generating the most consultation bookings.
